African Safari
The game reserve I partner with is located in the northern regions of Botswana, on the border of Namibia. Spanning over 10,000 acres, this pristine wildlife area is home to the Big 5 game animals – lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffalo. You’ll be based out of the Singita Grumeti Reserves, a collection of three ultra-luxurious tented camps situated on the banks of the Grumeti and Mwaluganje Rivers.
Each morning after an indulgent breakfast buffet, your private 4×4 vehicle will pick you up to begin game drives. Your expert guide Dominic has been working in these lands for over 15 years and knows all the best spots to find animals. Bring your camera, as you’ll see elephants casually drinking from the rivers up close, family prides of lions lounging in the tree shadows, and herds of zebras and antelopes grazing the plains. Afternoons are spent relaxing back at camp, going on walking safaris led by knowledgeable rangers, or enjoying spa treatments at the on-site wellness facility.
Dinners are truly unforgettable multi-course affairs served under the stars, often alongside an open fire. The camps have been designed with eco-friendly materials to blend seamlessly into the surrounding landscape. Accommodations offer butler service, outdoor rain showers, private plunge pools and splendid sunrise views from your canopy bed. Technology is banned to allow for a true escape from the modern world.
This tailored 10-day itinerary also includes a hot air balloon safari over the Okavango Delta and afternoon game drives via open-top safari vehicles. I’ve arranged for a special bush dinner one evening, cooked by a local family with traditional song and dance performances. Let me know if you need any other services or extras – this trip is solely about your enjoyment and creating memories to last a lifetime in one of the most incredible wildlife destinations on Earth.
