An unforgettable journey to Akagera National Park with a seamless pick-up from your hotel in Kigali. This one-day adventure promises an exhilarating game drive, breathtaking landscapes, and a return to Kigali enriched with memories of Rwanda’s stunning wildlife.

Morning: Transfer to Akagera National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel in Kigali early morning and transfer to Akagera National Park. You will pack breakfast snacks and drinks for the road. The drive takes approximately 3 hour drive to Akagera through scenic countryside and small towns. Upon arrival around, We will make payment at the entrance then proceed for game viewing. The game viewing will take 5-6 hours we explore the park, keeping our eyes peeled for lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos and over 500 different bird species. Around 1pm we will stop for a picnic lunch at a beautiful location. Refueled, we continue our drive, wrapping up around 5pm as the sun begins to set. I’ll then drive you back to Kigali.

Return to Kigali: Leave Akagera National Park in the late afternoon and head back to Kigali or your accommodation. End of our 1 Day akagera national park
