This is a 9 day trip in Uganda highlighting only a few of the national parks Uganda has.

Your safari will start from Murchison falls national park then head to Kibale national park and Queen Elizabeth national park and end at Bwindi impenetrable national park.

An informed and well-versed tour guide will accompany you throughout the trip.

Day 1: Departure to Murchison Falls National Park

Our guide will pick you from Kampala and you start your journey to Murchison Falls National Park.
On the way you will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. This sanctuary was set up to reintroduce rhinos in Uganda. You will then have a picnic lunch and continue with the journey.
You will arrive at the park in the early evening and visit the top of the falls. Later you will check in at Fort Murchison lodge. A lodge with breathtaking views deemed to provide for you comfort.
Dinner and overnight at will be at Fort Murchison lodge.

Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park

Breakfast will be had at Fort Murchison lodge. Our guide will pick you up and take you for an early morning game drive.
During the game drive you may be able to see the diverse wildlife Uganda has to offer most especially lions, elephants, African buffaloes, leopards and rhinoceroses.
The boat cruise offers sightings of land animals and the roaring Murchison Falls, water birds like herons, up close encounters with aquatic wildlife such as hippos and a relaxing and a serene experience on the water.
Lunch will be had at a nearby place to avoid the long drive back to Fort Murchison lodge and make it in time for the afternoon boat cruise.
In the evening you will retire to the lodge and have dinner.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale national park

Our guide will pick you from Murchison falls and drive you to Kibale national park.
Stopover will be at Hoima where you will have a quick lunch .The night will be spent at Kibale forest camp.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi Wetlands

You will have breakfast and then embark on a drive through the communities heading to Kibale forest national park for chimpanzee trekking. Chimpanzee trekking needs to be secured prior to the actual date.
The rangers will brief you on the precautions you need to take while trekking thereafter you will enter the forest to start. The session lasts till lunch time.
You will have lunch and then go for a community walk.
In the community walk you will witness the lush green country side and tea plantations that characterize the specific part of Uganda. This beautiful scenery will amaze you all the way.
There is also exploring Kibale crater lakes crowned with a hiking, a hike to the ‘top of the world’, and a hike to Lake Nkuruba while you will encounter different species of birds and primates.
Meet and interact with the local people of Kibale area during your walk as you enjoy its panoramic views.
For the Bigodi wetlands you will be taken on an adventure of spotting the extensive array of several primates that call this place home including red-tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys and baboons.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer from Kibale forest camp to Queen Elizabeth National Park

On arrival at Queen Elizabeth National park in the evening you will go for a boat cruise you may be able to witness sightings of giant hippos, crocodiles, elephants situated at the Kazinga channel that connects lakes George and Edward. After the boat cruise you will be taken to Bush lodge where you rest have dinner and spend the night.
Bush Lodge is well known for its exquisite cuisines serving up delicious continental dishes with a touch of elegance.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth national park

Breakfast will be had at the lodge and you will be taken for a game drive after .Queen Elizabeth national park prides itself in being home to a variety of wild animals mostly the “ big 5” the lions, elephants, buffaloes and leopards may be seen in the grasslands.
Lunch will be had at a nearby place so that we can make time to go back for an afternoon game drive. You will be taken to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park where you will spot the tree climbing lions. There is a very high chance of spotting them but at times they get lost because they are in the grasslands looking for prey.
After the long day you will retire to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Transfer from Queen Elizabeth national park to Bwindi impenetrable national park

In the morning you will have a quick breakfast and begin your journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park.
Lunch will be had enroute.
You will reach the park in the evening and check in at Rushaga gorilla lodge. Have dinner, rest and prepare for the gorilla trekking experience the next day.

Day 8: Gorilla trekking and transfer to Bunyonyi

Have breakfast and move to the rangers post for briefing on the, do’s and don’ts of trekking. Thereafter you will start your adventure in the Bwindi forest. The beauty of the rainforest is spectacular, it offers a dramatic forest landscape and it’s incredibly dense but adorned with numerous trails allowing movement of tourists. Time taken for the adventure and terrain vary with movement of the primates, once you have located a group of gorillas you will be allowed an hour in their presence.
Return from the forest have lunch and then get ready for the Batwa experience.
The Batwa are the indigenous people of Bwindi. You will get to interact with them and witness as they carry out their day to day lives as pygmies.
Then you will be taken to Bunyonyi for resting.

In Bunyonyi you will stay at Overland lodge it’s perched on a hill overlooking Bunyonyi with beautiful views of the surrounding islands and mountains.
Dinner and overnight will be had at Overland lodge

Day 9: Transfer to Kampala

You will have breakfast and then begin your journey back home.
Lunch will be had enroute.
